Wills Looks Forward to Le Mans Debut - 02.06.2011

Next weekend see’s the 79th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours at the Circuit de la Sarthe in the Pays de Loire region of central France. 56 cars and 168 drivers will fight for honours across the four classes.

Roger Wills will be competing in the GTE-Am category sharing a Ferrari F430 GT2 car with Shaun Lynn and Pierre Ehret. Based on their pace at the test weekend in April the trio are in a good position to contest for a class podium.

Looking towards the weekend Roger commented: “To race at the Le Mans 24 Hours is a boyhood dream. Physically and mentally I could not be in better shape and following the test weekend I am reasonably confident that we have the pace to feature in the results come Sunday afternoon. However none of us are under the illusion that it will be easy- it is probably the hardest motor race in the world and getting to the finish will be our primary ambition.”
