Successful Le Mans Test day for Wills - 08.06.2012

Roger Wills enjoyed a good run at the official Le Mans test day.

Positive about his experience Wills quoted:

"The morning session went well for my first ever time in the car but I was a bit unlucky in the afternoon as the ACO ran a safety car test and I had 3 laps at very slow speeds, then struggled to get the front tyres working again. The time difference between the top pro in my car and myself is very small from the start line all the way around to Arnage corner (10km) but I lose a fair bit from there through the Porsche Curves which is the most daunting part of the track. Much of this time will come in race week as I build up speed and get more confident. But the team were very pleased with my performance even though I personally had hoped to do a little better.

The car ran faultlessly so all is looking good for race week. I am back to Le Mans on Saturday as we have scrutineering on Sunday."

Wills will drive the Dunlop liveried “art-car” livery with a Dunlop tyre tread pattern in the black areas of the JMW run Ferrari 458. It will certainly get a lot of attention during the course of the weekend.
